Hey fans o' Lou! Just testing out a new and exciting style for the site. I've had the same baseball image and crummy flash at the top since around the internet bubble pop. About time I had a change. As usual I owe endless debts of gratitude to my man Jared. Without him you would still be staring at my 8 year old baseball card photoshops. I hope to build some galleries in the near future with most of that old ass content for the die hard Lou fans. All me of you. You know I love me. Right, me? Me me me.
This front page may change from time to time because I am just starting to get a hang of this whole new bloggity blog deal. Power to the people say....
Back to the old Lou. A couple of weeks ago Jodi and I went to go see "Monty Python & The Holy Grail" on Broadway. It was pretty funny, as I had heard. I was kind of sceptical for the first 10-15 mins. The jokes, well worn in my mind, were recieved with total glee by the audience of standard theater going types (see: weird families and older non-hip types mixed in with bused in teen jerk squads). I was kind overly aware of punchlines to these classic jokes I have studied religeously. I was also aware of how the audience was laughing at them and that I wasn't. It wasn't until the "Lady of the Lake" showed herself that I started enjoying myself. She was great! And she really brought the first non-pythonesque moment to the show. Her songs were awesome and she was smokin' hot. By the end of the 1st Act I was into it and the 2nd act was like 4x as good as the 1st. I highly recommend this play that has been out for over a year or two to people who haven't seen it yet. Most people I mentioned it to said, "Oh yeah, that was great. Saw it last year." Sigh.
The Weather sucks. It needs to get warm so I can ride my bike.
Work continues unabated.
