Jodi and I went to go see the Strangers With Candy movie last night. It was okay. It reminded me what the TV show was like and that I didn't really enjoy the TV show. So basically it was like watching a 90 min TV show. It had some funny moments where I was laughing pretty hard but over-all there were a lot more missed or off gags than good ones. The thing I thought was totally weird was the crazy cast of cameos. Sarah Jessica Parker, Mathew Broderick, Phillip Seymor Hoffman and a few others. Sarah Jessica's part was probably the stupidest and least worth the "oh thats funny that she's in this" factor Hoffman was kind of a waste as well. I did enjoy the randomness of having the children do Running of the Bulls in gym class.
After the flick Jodi and I, in a vain quest for food, walked from the Sunshine Cinema on Houston to the 1 train at Christopher Street. It was pretty stupid to walk that far considering it was probably 98 degrees last night. Today is supposed to be up to 110 or something stupid like that. I am concerned we're going to have another major electricity event and I don't want to walk home to Brooklyn from 116th Street.
Only 1 week until New Hamshire. I can't wait.
