The man in the street warned us
As we walked home from a fillng brunch, at boerum hill's Village 247, my father-in-law happened to say, as we walked by an eldery Italian man, "These houses are really nice. Really beautiful."
This prompted the Italian guy to run off a litany of reasons why we wouldn't want to buy in the neighborhood. These old nuildings only last a 100 years. The new ones need fixing. blah blah. We were trying to walk away but he wouldn't shut up. Finally when he was done telling us why my father-in-law said "So what you're saying is you don't want to sell. That's fine by me." That made the old man's freind laugh at him. I thought it was pretty funny, too.
It was 60 degrees today. Awesome. Blue skies, Warth, Sun & Dead Trees. I am looking forward to the Spring.

I was told I have to update this everyday???
I was scolded for not having updated this blog one day after having it up. I had no idea there were blog expectations. These Blexpectaions run very deep apparently!
Gunshow performed the improv last night. It was a funny show but very dirty. I was kind of mortified because my father-in-law was in the audience. Of course that didn't stop me from coming out of someones ass as a pygmy donkey being smuggled out of mexico. Weird show! We've been concentrating so hard on this upcoming sketch project that we have barely rehearsed the improv. I think that just implies that we go dirty a little earlier than we usually would. My in-law said that he enjoyed it. He added that "It's not quite ready for TV" but he was entertained. When he recounted some of the scenes Jodi looked like she was going to kill me. I think she was embarassed that her dad had seen such filth. I think he can hack it.
Was Osama captured? The Iranian news says so. But they said the same thing before. But the Pakistanis announced they'd been holding Zwakiri's brother for 2 years. That's gotta suck.
Spent the day walking with the in-laws. Brooklyn Bridge, DUMBO, B Heights. I was so beat I took the rare nap.
Watching Showtime @ the Apollo. A white lady playing the guitar is going to make it past the audience.... wild. They just boo'd off a guy in a blue suit playing a blue electric violin... and a woman who looked like a post-OP tranny. The white lady made it! Anna K. God Loves YOU!
Fridays improv scenes (What I remember anyway)
1) Ninja Store
2) Kids sing "You're my obession" and hump
3) Pygmy Donkey
4) Hooker Turns Tables
5) Hooker revisted (these reluctant weepy kids really turn me on)
6) Inappropriate gifts for Grandpa
7) Toll Booth waiting
Donkey Show weirdo Ending that involved playing Taboo, heroin & ninja poison addiction and ninjas being forced into donkey shows. Just fucking weird!

And so it begins...
Many props to Jared for setting up this blog for little old me. The man is generous to those both deserving and not so.
This blog is going to mostly likely serve two purposes.
Purpose #1 keep people up tp date about my life which mainly consists of baby, wife & comedy. Work throws itself in there and it's never pleasant so I'll try and keep it clear.
Purpose #2 is to serve and a place for me to throw ideas up. And as people know, I always need a place to throw up.
ENTRY #1 is in the books.
