I had today off so I didn't get to experience the magnificence of the transit workers being back on the job. Jodi did manage to make it into work so that she could do all the work that had backed up. She claims she had 350 emails waiting for her. I just looked at the columbia website for video related jobs. There was one hit. It was senior video technician at the Columbia Medical Center. Salary? $36k. That is well below what I am making now and really just a retardedly low sum for the skill set that they are seeking. It's sad to see what the world thinks you're worth. Tonight as I returned a microphone to a friend who'd lent it to me for the Chef shoot a pizza delivery guy rode by in a Texas A&M jacket. I was baffled as to why someone who obviously has zero connection to the college school system would buy a jacket like that. I know the answer is probably because it's a knock off or was in a bin at Salvation Army for a dollar. I was wondering if you made jackets that said "Words" or "Generic College" or "Empty Phrase" or whatever would you see if on these guys? It was funnier when I was walking to drop off the microphone.
