Back to the politics of my nightmares. Things are heating up. The first debates are about to happen. I was disappointed to hear that the VP debate between Biden and Palin was going to be very formatted and not off the cuff. I mean that so favors the unprepared and unskilled Palin. I think that the GOP was afraid she'd have another "In what way Charlie" moment and the DNC was afraid that Biden would come off condescending or like a big dick to Palin. So they are just basically going to take turns trying reiterate policy points and make that interesting.

In other news I swallowed some kind of bug on my way home across the brooklyn bridge last week. I was riding hard with my mouth open and "zzzzzZZZZZZZZ GULP bleeeecchhhh wretch wretch wretch gag wretch heave gag GULP UGGGHHHHHHH" It was hanging out in the back of my throat for a while. I could not dislodge it. eventually it succumbed to the throat muscles and was consumed. BLECH. Luckily it wasn't a stinging bug. Literally 10 minutes before that happened a bee flew by my mouth by inches. HARBINGER!
