The Jones Soda Challenge
If you don't think projectile vomiting is funny then you won't be enjoying this! I thought it was pretty damn entertaining.

Oh What a Day
So today was the big day. Barack made it! I kind of lost my mind and treated my facebook status like a SA thread. It was kind of fun for me but the actual event was a big deal. On campus the University set up a jumbotron to televise the swearing in. Kevin and I went to go check it out but it was totally crowded.

We tried to angle around to find a better angle but it wasn't any use. So we tried to go into a building to get above but either doors were locked or people were already crowding the windows.

Eventually we found a professors office and he was nice enough to let us share his view.

We stuck around for a minute then we gave up and went back to the office to watch it on line.
Jodi watched the show from home with Ace and Asher. Ace told Jodi that he wished he was a cop at the inauguration so he could tell people where the bathroom was. He also said something to her about how Barack talks. Jodi swears that out of nowhere Ace did a Barack style proclamation about some of his stuff in the living room. Then just as soon as it started it was over.
The rest of the day went quick. I hurried home so that Mike and I could hit Ikea and fulfill a birthday promise for our mom. She really wanted a Flurgen but we splurged and got her a Ker-Plorggik.
Bad news. First Jodi's macbook goes all weird then I come today and my iMac has totally failed. Won't power up at all. I am screwed. All my mac shit has gone to hell since the beginning of the new year. WHY STEVE! WHY!!!?

Happy New Year! like two weeks ago
Good New Year to you good friends. I hope that the new calendar brings you good health and fortune. I also hope you haven't already betrayed your New Years Resolutions. You sad weak fools!
So how has the new year been treating me? I'll tell ya! Weird. Work is about to start again in earnest. I've been hard at work uploading tons of old school King Lou videos. I'm talking all the way back to High School and shit. Check out the variety of crap that I've been saving. Saving.... FOR THE FUTURE!!! My favorite thing about these videos is how terrible they are and how crazy the ideas are. There are a couple of videos that I made where I am talking about Bruce Springsteen. Apparently I had decided that he was very proud of what a shitty person he is and had written an auto-biography entitled "Life of Shit". I have no idea why. Here's a sample.
I particularly like that Bruce Springsteen fans gets really bent out of shape about those videos. They are over twenty years old! I kind of can't believe that my parents let me write "Fuck off and die" in spray paint on the back of my door.
I also found my only copy of International Jet Set playing live in Milwaukee.
Supposedly there is another tape or two out there of IJS but they haven't been seen in over 10 years. I still have some video tapes to track down to really get the whole collection online. Wish me good hunting. The interweb needs to know that people were making terrible videos ages before youtube!
Also in cool news my longtime friend and compatriot, Guy, has started posting his videos on youtube as well. Among them are some of the great videos I edited for him which I don't actually own copies of.
This video was actually on three walls simultaneously so it was a room full of music video action. Pretty cool and it worked! Those were the days! I think this video was also the days shortly before I lost my job at that editing house. Oh well!
